I know it’s very early days for Ed Miliband as the new Labour leader, but I’m interested in know how others feel about his chances of steering Labour up to the next general election and beyond?
Is Ed Miliband a breath of fresh air for the Labour party, taking a small step to the center left putting clear blue water between Labour and the Tories or;
The equivalent of the Conservatives Ian Duncan Smith who also didn’t have the full support of his parties MPs/MEPs during his party leadership elections and didn’t do too well as the Conservative party leader (putting it mildly :-)???
I thought David Miliband would easily win the Labour party leadership election (it was very close) and can understand why he’s stepped down from the shadow Labour cabinet for now (I doubt he’ll be out at the next general election though).
I do have a problem with Ed Miliband standing against his brother, had David Miliband won I don’t see how it would have damaged Ed’s political career, but the current results made it so difficult for David Miliband to remain in the media spot light over shadowing his brother the new Labour leader. I don’t think I could have done something like that to my older brother IF I was close to him!

I SOOOOOOOOO REGRET VOING FOR TORIES! I WANT LABOUR TO WIN 2015 ELECTION. SO I WILL BE VOTING FOR THE FAIRER ONE NATION LABOUR, C’MON ED MILLIBAND!
I WORKED SO SO HARD TO BECOME A NURSE, I MADE A LOT OF SACRIFICES, I LIVED IN POVERTY ALONE IN A DIFFERENT CITY WHERE I DIDNT KNOW A SINGLE PERSON THEIR FOR YEARS, IN ORDER TO GO TO UNIVERSITY.BUT WHENEVER I FELT LIKE GIVING UP, I THOUGHT WHEN I GRADUATE A BECOME A NURSE, ALL THIS WOULD BE WORTH IT. SO ONE DAY I RECIEVED MY DEGREE AND BECAME A NURSE, AND NOW UNDER DAVID CAMERONS GOVERNMENT IVE BEEN MADE REDUNDANT, ALSO NOW IM BEEN PUNISHED BECAUSE I CANT GET INTO EMPLOYMENT, IM ON THE VERGE OF LOSING MY HOUSE, I CANT AFFORD BUYING FOOD, PAYING FOR MY MORTGAGE, PAYING BILLS, AND SOON WILL ALSO HAVE TO PAY COUNCIL TAX ALL UNDER THIS TORIES GOVERNMENT, THE CONSERVATIVES HAVE RUINED MY LIFE. i think the people will look back at what this government has done and look at what the consequences will be if labour achieves power we had a visit whilst ed was energy secretary and he constantly had to be briefed, i am not a lover of people at the bottom suffering, but reality is we are broke so why bother asking whether he will win for labour lets say work all together in every party and let the people win for once.

Too much people are suffering from this government, infact genuine people like disabled and redundant people have died, i thinks its time for Labour to get back in the office, come on ed milliband!!
