My 18 year old brother filled in and posted his electoral registration form before the deadline. Today he phoned the electoral office to enquire why he hadn't received a polling card. After a search of the office he was told his form had not been received and therefore would he would not be able to vote in the election. Does anyone know if there is anything he can do? It is extremely unfair that because of an error, which is no fault of his, he is being denied his right to vote. Surely there should be contingency plans in place to deal with this (probably not uncommon) occurrence.
