Also see the BNP Manifesto 2010.
The British National Party (BNP) is a far-right political party with strong racist and fascist roots. Formed as a splinter group from the racist/fascist National Front by John Tyndall in 1982. Until 2009, when the BNP was challenged in the courts on grounds of racial discrimination, it restricted membership to only people of “Caucasian origin”. The BNP under Nick Griffin wasted 10s of thousands of pounds of their members fees on fighting their illegal whites only membership policy through the courts.
The BNP seeks to restore the overwhelmingly white ethnicity of Britain (what they call the indigenous population) that existed prior to 1948 through legal means, including “firm but voluntary and very expensive incentives for immigrants and their descendants to return home”: this policy would cost British tax payers billions and result in a shortage of trained workers. And the repeal of anti-discrimination legislation whilst adding more discriminating legislation to favour the “indigenous population”. It believes that there are significant differences between races. The party is ostracised by mainstream political parties in the UK for it’s racist and fascist ideologies.
In 2005, the last UK general election, the party received 0.7% of the popular vote but had no candidates elected to Parliament (currently it has never had an MP). In the 2006 English local elections the party doubled its number of seats in England. The BNP finished fifth in the 2008 London mayoral election with 5.2% of the popular vote and secured one of the London Assembly’s 25 seats. They won their first county council seats in 2009 together with two seats in the European Parliament. The party’s media profile has increased under its current leader Nick Griffin, a former national organiser of the racist National Front and failed business owner (has been declared bankrupt).
Despite a hard British recession, the British National Party have not fared well in recent by-elections in recent months, loosing their deposit each time. Indications are the BNP will not make the break through into mainstream politics in 2010 general election as they hope.
All eligible British voters should be aware if the BNP ever gained power, millions of law abiding British voters would loose the right to vote under the BNP’s National Service policy where ALL Britain’s over the age of 18 are required to serve a period of military service or LOOSE the right to vote! You MUST serve in the military to earn the right to vote under a BNP government, though you’d also gain the option to legally own an assault rifle as well!
For information about the BNP’s National Service commitment see the BNP General Election Manifesto 2005 (as of March 2010 there isn’t a BNP General Election Manifesto 2010).
BNP Leader Nick Griffin MEP
The current BNP leader Nick Griffin, (along with Paul Ballard) has been convicted in a British court of law (Harrow Crown Court: 27th April to 1st May 1998) for violating section 19 of the Public Order Act 1986, relating to incitement to racial hatred for his editorship of issue 12 of The Rune, published in 1996. Nick Griffin received a 9 month sentence, suspended for 2 years for the crime of inciting racial hatred.
During the trial he was accused of denying the holocaust and said:
I am well aware that the orthodox opinion is that six million Jews were gassed and cremated and turned into lampshades. Orthodox opinion also once held that the Earth was flat … I have reached the conclusion that the ‘extermination’ tale is a mixture of Allied wartime propaganda, extremely profitable lie, and latter witch-hysteria.
Nick Griffin confirmed he was a holocaust denier during the TV program (the Cook Report).
Nick Griffin, Cook Report, 1997
Closest Nick Griffin has come to changing his holocaust denying view was during question time in late 2009. His current views on the holocaust was not very clear. Does he believe millions of innocent Jewish people were murdered in Nazi death camps like Auschwitz?
Nick Griffin – Holocaust denial on Question Time, 2009
British National Party Conspiracy Theories
The BNP as a party believe in a multitude of political conspiracy theories from the absurd idea of a New World Order Conspiracy Theories including Common Purpose Conspiracy Theory through to Peak Oil Conspiracy Theories and Global Warming/Climate Change is a Hoax!!
The BNP also believe the three main political parties, Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrats are in league together (one big political conspiracy) to maintain the status quo (keep the BNP out of power).
UKIP is the Eurosceptic Conservative front, Green Party is the Green front for the Labour Party and the Welsh Plaid Cymru Party is fake (I assume they mean it’s just the Tories under another name in Wales!).
The British National Party also believe the Labour Party allow in an uncontrolled number of immigrants to boost the Labour Party support: according to the BNP all immigrants vote Labour!

Well at least I only post under one name Dave, or should I call you Jon?
You’ve been posting on my site for over a month under the name Jon and now you’ve started posting under the name David and Jon at the same time.
Why?
In your earlier Jon comments you are in the army (Sergeant) and in your David comments a business owner. Which is it? Do you even have a job?
You’ve been caught out as a two faced BNP supporting liar, I understand why you support the BNP, you’ll fit in well there.
You are one of the BNP numpties who accused me of being more than one person: http://www.general-election-2010.co.uk/reasons-to-vote-british-national-party-bnp-2010-general-election.html/comment-page-29#comment-4594
Jon/David you just lost all credibility, not that as a BNP supporter you had any anyway.
Since you started posting on my site with the name Jon, please only use Jon from now on or I’ll mark all your new comments with the moderator note or delete them.
David

Not at all David, Now who is pointing the finger???? lol I have a brother who uses my pc as it is in my office here at home. See you are as unpopular as ever. May be one day you will see your true bitter self before you depart from your selfish life. Not too late to change your ways David.
Jon & David
PMSLOL, not heard that one before when a commenter is caught out. You and your brother have a very similar posting style.
Both vote BNP.
Both have read the Koran, not the Qur’an, but the Koran.
Both have the exact same political view as the other.
Are you twins or maybe clones?
Here’s a few things that give it away beyond using the same IP for different names.
You used the same writing style, for example when asking a question as Jon/David both end the question with multiple question marks????? You both capitalise words within a sentence where a Capital letter really shouldn’t Be. I’m no expert on writing styles, but yours is very, very easy to spot.
Lets not waste any more time on this, you are one person, I don’t care if you admit it or not, if you post under the name David again I’ll add a moderator note or delete it.
David

Removing Potter and a number of other BNP posters from this site will have no effect on the BNP. You can never silence the true feelings of the people of all creeds who live here in peace. I am not Racist as I have many Jewish and Sikh friends, is this hard to take on board David??? I love Life but I would love it better if I had not to think of Islam and Muslims living in my Country!
How did I remove BNP commenter’s from the site?
This site is run by the software WordPress.
The comments are open, you don’t have to register to comment (anyone can comment).
There is no easy way to ban a person from posting.
The only way I can ban a person is if they use one IP address ONLY to access my site, I can ban them from my entire dedicated server and so far I’ve banned one person (Crispin for being homophobic comments). It’s a minority of commenter’s who use a static IP.
If a person has a dynamic IP address (their IP changes every time they log on) there is no way to ban them.
That means manually deleting comments one by one as they are posted.
Yes I delete some comments, for example when P0TTER made around 15 duplicate comments about removing the BNP from the poll I deleted them. Haven’t deleted his/her non SPAM comments though, examples:

The majority of BNP comments on the main general election poll page are deleted. There is a warning on that page that BNP comments are generally not welcome (let a small number through), but on the BNP pages, BNP supporters can comment.
If you don’t like the way I run this site, don’t visit it. As I’ve said many times I’d be a very happy man if BNP supporters would never comment on this site and yet I still tolerate BNP numpties like you and Potter who accuse me of ridiculous things like making all the anti-BNP comments under different names like Vote No To BNP.
I love this approach you are taking, can’t beat me in reasoned debate, so attack me on my moderating style.
Lets discuss the BNP national service policy that links the right to vote to military service. Not served in the military, whoops, you can’t vote M8!
Come on Jon, discuss this retarded BNP policy. Tell me why you think this would be good for the country?
David
Reasons to Vote British National Party : BNP 2010 General Election
Not going to waste any more of my time on a moron like you. You have banned Potter and many more from using the site so tell the truth! I would love to use the words which describe you the best but not going to give you the satisfaction of deleting my post.
Jon
You are a lying BNP supporter and I hope you aren’t lying about not posting here anymore (won’t hold my breath though!).
I have banned one IP address from my dedicated server, period! If a BNP commenter like Potter or Terence (that guys an idiot) made a comment right now it would go through because after a comment is approved to a commenter’s email address they all go through (you appear to know Potter personally, if you know his/her email address try making a comment with it, it will go through) with the odd exception**.
** Sarah in the Desert for example has had a few comments automatically moderated as SPAM by a plugin called Akismet, the plugin made a mistake. It happens, the software isn’t perfect, but it was easily fixed, I manually recovered the comments.
If someone posts BNP SPAM like the last ones Potter made (15 almost identical comments) I’d have to manually delete them like the last lot Potter made. This is true of all commenter’s except Crispin who can’t access any of my sites via the static IP he posted here with (though he could get by the IP block by using a proxy server).
If I really wanted to fully control who was and who was not allowed to comment on my site I’d do what the BNP website does (it uses WordPress as well) and only allow registered users to comment. If I did this I could then easily ban users who didn’t stick to the commenting rules http://www.general-election-2010.co.uk/commenting-policy
Sick to death of BNP conspiracists posting rubbish about me on my own website. If I wasn’t so tolerant I’d delete every last BNP comment and only allow comments from non BNP supporting commenter’s. The fact I’m allowing you to accuse me of this rubbish shows it’s rubbish (I could have deleted your comment you BNP moron).

Reasons to Vote British National Party : BNP 2010 General Election
I am afraid David is so full of vitriolic hatred of the BNP and all those British/English people who support it that he has lost all sense of democracy and reason.
The people of this Country will vote for the party they wish, and David will have to accept that, even if he does not want to play by fair rules on his precious web pages.
He cannot change the outcome of the election itself, all he can do is bury his head in the sand and delude himself.
(Note to moderator, David, there is no need to reply, this post is not intended for you to read or answer, it is for Jon)
Reasons to Vote British National Party : BNP 2010 General Election
And yet you still visit my site and post on it despite saying several times you won’t be posting anymore. A lot of BNP commenter’s say they hate me and my site and aren’t going to post anymore, shame they are a bunch of BNP liars who keep posting more and more comments!
BTW if you want to send Jon direct messages, why don’t you contact him via the BNP website: I’m sure you both comment there on a regular basis, bitching about how undemocratic I am :-)
Have a nice day.

Not saying I hate you and your site David, I just hate the way you show lack of respect for fellow posters. One day you will take note about your lack of understanding and also the ill feeling you have for a Genuine Party which values the beliefs of all Cultures of people who live here in peace. You really know jack shit about the New BNP! I stand with open arms to welcome people of all cultures in my ward as long as they fit in with the rest of the peoples lives and customs. Islam and Muslims are and Never will be Welcome in my Ward! Why??? Because they want their own Schools, Laws, Doctors and every thing which is Islamic! More and more people are fed up with their 3rd World Stone Age Ways! The Majority of Muslims will never be Civilised or act Civilised.

So much for “Not going to waste any more of my time on a moron like you.”, typical BNP temper tantrum when they don’t get their own way.
“Not saying I hate you and your site David, I just hate the way you show lack of respect for fellow posters.”

This is how pathetic BNP Potter is, take a read of http://bnp.org.uk/groups/the-bnp (you have to register to read it all as the BNP hide their main content from the general public):
This is a result of posting 15 almost identical “WHY HAVE YOU REDUCED THE POLL OF BNP VOTES” comments to this site within minutes of each other and a few to one of my other sites about conspiracy theories.
I deleted all the comments, because it’s been discussed at length at http://www.general-election-2010.co.uk/general-election-2010-have-your-say.html including http://www.general-election-2010.co.uk/general-election-2010-have-your-say.html/comment-page-4#comment-4131 where the discussion is still open.
This is the exact email I sent Potter:
Note: threatened to ban Potter, didn’t actual ban the IP. If he/she does it again I will.
Basically another lying scumbag BNP supporter who lacks the skills to debate politics so resorts to BNP conspiracies, lies and mud slinging.
Absolutely pathetic excuse for a human being and that’s the sort of person that campaigns for the BNP!

When someone spouts the word racist what do they mean by that term. Is it a claim that all races display and have the same attributes to each other in equal measure? The answer has to be no because that is simply not true. Races and peoples are different (which does not mean, overall, that one race is superior to another).
I do not believe that the BNP is racist (that does not mean that there are racists within their ranks). If a party wishes to preserve the indigenous population in terms of genetic stock and culture then that truly is a good thing. I will be voting for the BNP at the next election. What made me decide? Reading books: Race against time: racial heresies for the 21st century by j. Taylor et.al. and the Immigration Invasion by Arthur Kemp.
Plus articles on the web.
I will leave you my definition of what I believe constitutes a racist:
The belief that race is a primary determinant of human traits, and with that, the capacities and those racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a certain race.
I could go into more details but I believe that anybody who is racist (under what I have defined is racist) cannot produce a tenable argument to support their views. If the BNP don’t get in then this country will change -- for what I believe to be -- the worst. Balkanisation if you will.
Reasons to Vote British National Party : BNP 2010 General Election
I think what we have to notice is that BNP support has risen over the past few years as the economy has dived. Basically this shows that as people feel times are tough and that they’re in difficult situations they turn to extremeties, e.g the BNP. The same thing happened in Germany causing Hitler to get into power, which is happening with the BNP, albeit on a very very very much smaller scale.
Thankfully as the economy gets better i’d not be surprised if BNP support starts to drop again. At the end of the day outside of Yorkshire and a few of the home counties, they have little/no real support anyway.
Reasons to Vote British National Party : BNP 2010 General Election
It seems to be somewhat common ‘knowledge’ or acceptance that the BNP are dangerous because of their ‘racist’ intent. I’m not denying this is true to some degree, but it seems to be the entire focus by most people on this party. As far as I am aware, their campaign in recent years has not promoted racism or incited racial hatred, regardless of their history. They are a legitimate political party and deserve a voice. This country is becoming far too concerned about silencing people rather than letting them speak and it disgusts me. If you don’t like the BNP, don’t vote for them. I certainly won’t be, but they have the right to campaign and run, just like everyone else.
Reasons to Vote British National Party : BNP 2010 General Election
You may want to correct two items on your post: --
1) The location of the Nazi concentration camp is spelt “Auschwitz” (not “Auswitch”)
2) It’s “status quo” not “status qua”
Recent polls have indicated that around 60% of the general populous support BNP policies -- though would be to afraid to admit it.
Thanks for pointing out the typos, even checked the Auschwitz/Auswitch spelling online when I added that part to the article, but looks like tens of thousands of people made the same mistake (Auswitch has 32,000 pages in Google) and I copied them!
David
“Recent polls have indicated that around 60% of the general populous support BNP policies – though would be to afraid to admit it.”
That’s not completely true. The SKY poll discussed at http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Sky-News-Archive/Article/200806413520516 apparently only asked about immigration policy.
“They were asked whether they supported halting all further immigration to the UK.
Nearly six out of 10 -- 59% -- who did not know it was a BNP plan, said they would back the idea.
But among those who were told it was BNP policy, the level of support was 48% -- a drop of 11% .
More than half of those surveyed agreed all immigrants should be denied the right to bring further members of their family into this country.
However, the number fell by 9% among people who were aware it was a BNP policy.
The average level of support for the BNP’s ideas was 55% among those who were not told where they had come from.
Among those who knew it was 49%.”
That is not a 59% support for all BNP polices, just one aspect of BNP policy of stop all immigration.
Did the poll include other BNP policies like on the economy where the BNP plan to take back British land and businesses with no information as to how they plan to acquire land and businesses owned by foreign investors or how it will be paid for?
Whenever I try to start a debate on BNP policies beyond immigration, BNP supporters appear to have a zipper across their lips!
David
Reasons to Vote British National Party : BNP 2010 General Election
All the other political parties are afraid to raise a serious debate on immigration and losing votes. It’s nothing to do with being racist, we all want to better our lives. Stop benefits for the first 3 years to immigrants and you will see a dramatic drop in immigration. Let those who want to make a life here welcome as long as they can support themselves.
The British National Party is the ONLY Party in the UK that is not tainted with greed and the only Party not to have told lies. I wish them every success at the forthcoming elections.
The British National Party is filled with liars.
There’s a BNPTV video about a postmaster in Wales that was accused by a soldiers mother to have not served her because her son was in Afghanistan.
Turns out she was lying, there was monetary reasons (there had been a mistake that cost the woman money that she got back) for what happened and the BNPTV was threatened with legal action so they rightly removed the BNPTV video from the BNP website.
Fair enough, mistakes happen.
However a Wales BNP organiser (so official of the BNP) has kept the BNPTV video online on YouTube despite it being a pack of lies. The BNP organiser is happy to leave a misleading video online because it supports the BNP cause that Muslims are awful people despite it harming the postmaster, his family and his business!!!
So please don’t try to make out the people behind the BNP are wonderful people, some of them are absolute scum.
One BNP official (London Assembly BNP candidate I believe) has said something along the lines of rape isn’t a serious criminal offence because women like sex just like they like chocolate! So raping a woman is the same as force feeding a woman chocolate which according to this BNP scumbag isn’t a serious crime!!!
Do you want someone like that in power Alexander?
David

I would like to ask why my answer to your previous reply to me has not yet appeared (Or has appeared but been removed)
I do remove some comments, usually the “I’m voting X party, but not saying why or adding to the debate”. I also move comments around when they aren’t threaded correctly, is it this comment you are talking about?
http://www.general-election-2010.co.uk/reasons-to-vote-british-national-party-bnp-2010-general-election.html/comment-page-31#comment-6017
That’s your last comment and I moved it to the right thread.
If it’s another one, I’m reasonably confident I didn’t delete it (I only delete a handful of comments a week).
Other possibility is you posted a comment and it didn’t go through, I’ve been making changes to the dedicated server the site runs on today, so if you was really unlucky to post a comment as I was rebooting the server or something (I made it crash for a 10 minutes today :-)) it would be lost. Always a good idea to keep a copy of a big comment on your PC in case something goes wrong, I do that myself with big comments as it really does suck to write a lot and loose it all for the sake of a quick copy and paste into a text file before clicking the submit button.
Anyway, If I don’t move the comments to the right comment threads it won’t make much sense to other readers of the comments.
David

I am still unsure of who to vote for because as far as I can see everyone i the commons is on the good old gravy train and spending out hard earned taxes, my vote would be to someone who stands up for the indigenous population of the British Isles and gives jobs to british workers forst and close the borders to illegal immigrants and also cust down on overseas aid which would be put to better use in the NHS, schools and get the national deficit paid off.
