That this House recognises the huge contribution made to British industry by great British designers; congratulates the pottery firm Emma Bridgewater on its 25th anniversary and for creating world-class designs; notes that it employs scores of skilled craftsmen and women who make each piece of pottery by hand; recognises that the company has kept alive the skills of manufacturing pioneered in Stoke-on-Trent; and appreciates that it is a symbol of Britain at its best.
